Marte Eidsand Kjørven is an Associate Professor in Commercial Contract Law. Her research interests lie within financial, contract and consumer law, as well as law of obligations and tort. In this talk, Catalin and Marte discuss a number of problems raised by cases of financial fraud in Norway and conclude that the current interpretation of contract law in Scandinavia poses significant risks and generates unfair results for consumers that were victims of financial fraud.
